My very first horse, Sunny, wasn't exactly a palomino but as an American Saddlebred x Thoroughbred he had that typical Saddlebred colour that's like a golden, dappley liver chestnut with a blonde mane and tail.

It's true that when he was a foal, he looked like he simply couldn't decide on a shade.....

.....but by the time he was four, he knew. Then Champagne came along,

then Darcy (with thanks to Mark Corbett Eventing)

and now I have a choice of four.

Three palomino horses graze in a lush green field with dense leafy trees in the background, creating a serene, pastoral scene.

Three for riding..........

A small pony walks near a wooden post in a muddy paddock. Overcast sky and green trees in the background create a calm, rural scene.

....and one just for being cute.
