A country manor

After creating the 3D model of a country manor in Sketchup (see our “Design, visualise, inspire” collection), we began to model the entire estate and its equestrian facilities. This task certainly had its challenges, involving detailed modelling of the terrain and natural features as well as man-made elements such as asphalt surfaces, stud rail fences and stone walls. Producing the resultant photorealistic renders in V-Ray was infinitely rewarding, however, and it was incredible to watch as the estate came to life with textures produced in this amazing software. The project has been globally located in the southern hemisphere. Click on each image below to see rendered photorealistic scenes of parts of the estate in November – which is summer.
